A certified diabetes educator can help you learn how to take care of yourself and guide you through your treatment. They will help you make healthy decisions and help you manage any problems that you encounter along the way. The certified diabetes educators at Flexcare Health Solutions offer individual and group classes to help manage your diabetes.
Diabetes education is a recognized part of your diabetes care and is covered by Medicare and most health insurance plans when offered through an accredited diabetes education program. The benefits of diabetes education include healthy eating, being active, medication adherence, monitoring/testing, problem solving, risk reduction, and healthy coping.
Flexcare Health Solutions offers accredited diabetes education classes that meet the vigorous criteria set by the United States Health and Human Services.
Our evidence-based, patient-driven program is accredited by the AADE (American Association of Diabetes Educators. We offer both group and one-to-one classes. Our certified diabetes educators develop individual action plans and provided continued support and education through a series of six classes. At this time our classes are “self-pay” and are scheduled in advance.

Diabetes Self Management Education Classes are led by a Certified Diabetes Educator and meet on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm Eastern time.
